1. Always make sure you have one of the approved routers
   TP-Link white with two black antennas OR Linksys blue and black with two black antennas
2. Make sure all other routers are unplugged.  
3. Then verify our router is plugged in properly (check Scenario 1 and Scenario 2)
4. Make note of the status of the 4th light from the left (on the front of the router): ON / BLINKING / OFF
5. Make note of the status of the WiFi broadcast: "Do you see your unit number in the list of available WiFi access points?"

Scenario 1: Router in Companel (white panel inside closet of bedroom usually closest to front door)

1. Make sure the router is powered on.
2. Make sure the wire from port 8 is going to the blue port on the back of the router (cord color doesn't matter)

2. Make sure the wire from the wall is going to the blue port on the back of the router (cord color doesn't matter)
3. In the Companel (white panel inside the closet of bedroom closest to front door) make sure a wire is going between port 1 and port 8.
